About Me

Q. What inspired you to become a guide?

Since I was a teenager, I always have been fascinated by art and excited to meet new people. I have two Degrees from Lyon University, one in Art History and one in Science of Education. So my love to learn and share my passion for art made guiding a natural fit.

Q. What do you love most about London?

I love the infinite art, history, areas of the city with all different atmospheres, people and food. In London I feel alive and as Dr. Samuel Johnson once said, "If you are tired of London you are tired of life."

My Insider Tips for London

Q: Best time of year to enjoy London?

I love London during summertime. The sun is shining, the temperature is warm and there are plenty of outdoor events from music in parks, to rooftop bars, to food markets all along the Thames. It's unreal how St. Paul's on a summer night is even more incredibly magnificent!

Q: What do you tell your visiting friends to see in London?

To get lost walking in the city, following your feelings, and stopping at places that spark inspiration and happiness. Some of my personal recommendations include, seeing the Tate Museum and have a coffee on the café at the top for a fantastic view of St. Paul's. Then visit St. Paul’s Cathedral! Have a pint or two on Fleet Street with the oldest pubs in the city. Have a walk along the canal in Camden Town and enjoy the beauty of Little Venice.

Q: What are some unmissable foods and drinks?

I would obviously say the famous fish and chips, the butty (bacon & egg sandwich) and English breakfast to start. Other great bites include crumble, a sausage roll, scotch eggs, and pork pie, which you can actually try on our Devour London food tours. Of course, you should also try some ales, stout, lagers, ciders and tea, but equally delicious are English sparkling wine, local cranberry juice and apple juice.
