Excellent one day tour with Cosimo.
Had a great day led by the tour guide for day,Cosimo. This guide is also a history teacher and grad of oldest university in Italy. He shares so much information about the places visited on the tour and about Italy in general as well as Italian culture, you will be amazed. The day is long because it’s a long way there and back, but well worth it. There are time limits at each location because it’s a one day tour but it’s adequate to give you a good flavor of each. Katerina was the guide at Pompeii and she was very good too! This was our fourth or fifth tour through this company and all have been good.

It was a comfortable trip.From Rome, I thought I would give up going to Pompeii because of the poor location, but I was able to do it because I was given a car tour.The guide was in English but he spoke slowly so it was easy to understand.

Which town on the Amalfi Coast will I visit?
Most of the year, you'll visit Positano. In the low season (November through late March), most of the businesses in Positano town close, making the town rather uneventful to visit. During this time, we will visit Sorrento instead, where you'll have plenty of options for lunch and shopping.
Is there free time in Sorrento?
Absolutely. You’ll enjoy up to two hours to wander, eat, shop, or simply soak in the scenery.
How long is the tour?
The tour lasts approximately 2 hours. It's perfect if you are short on time, but still want to see the best of the Uffizi Gallery.
Can I use this tour as a transfer to the Amalfi Coast?
Unfortunately our transport vans do not have enough space to accommodate luggage so it's not possible to use this tour as a transfer to towns on the Amalfi Coast from Rome.
Is this tour wheelchair accessible?
No. Unfortunately, due to site restrictions we cannot accommodate wheelchairs on this tour. Guests should be prepared for a moderate level of physical activity, including standing for extended periods and climbing stairs, which may not be suitable for travelers with certain health conditions or mobility limitations.
What if the weather is bad (rain, snow, hail, etc.) on the day of my tour?
Our tours run rain or shine so please dress for the elements. We also ask you to please remember hats and sunscreen if you are taking this tour in the summer as it might be very hot.
Is lunch included?
No. Your guide will give you a few great recommendations for lunch spots and give you plenty of time, but where and what you eat is up to you.
Is Pompeii accessible to people in wheelchairs?
The streets of Pompeii have never been repaved or smoothed over so much of the city is nearly impossible to navigate for those with mobility impairments. If you use a wheelchair there is a special route for you, so please contact our customer service department for details.
Can I bring a bag with me into Pompeii?
Small bags and purses are allowed inside Pompeii.
